The squeeze vest is for those who are on the spectrum or have anxiety disorders. It is known that gentle pressure can help relieve anxiety or stress, and this vest allows the user to activate gentle pressure with the squeeze of a pump.
This was one of my inspirations when I decided to create the wearable, and originally I wanted to make a vest that had a similar function, but instead of manually squeezing a pump, it would inflated to give gentle pressure pulses if your pulse was over a certain amount. However, I decided it would be better to do my own version and instead of inflating, it would vibrate on a pressure point to relax the child wearing it. This would be activated by pressing a button that would turn on the motor, which would be place on the other wrist of child, as one wrist would have the pulse sensor on it.
